At Bua Consulting we like to practice what we preach. As a result our philosophy is to utilise web-based applications to run our business. This enables use to:
- Work anytime from anywhere (with an internet connection).
- Partner seamlessly with companies from around the world.
- Share information with staff, partners and clients from around the world quickly and efficiently.
- Add new users to our systems quickly and with little or no additional cost.
- Integrate information between systems easily.
- Maintain minimal hardware. Our applications reside in what is commonly termed the (internet) cloud.
Being 100% web-based provides an enormous competitive advantage. Our costs are low, we can adapt and scale our service quickly and effectively, and we can collaborate better with partners and clients. These are benefits that are passed on to our clients also.

Technologies we use:
Our online business console: We use our own licensed technology to run our website. It is a comprehensive content management systems that allows us to easily add web pages but also includes blogs, email newsletters, ecommerce capabilities, SMS features, online bookings, and comprehensive analytics.
Central Desktop: This online collaboration software allows us to manage our project teams and internal information. Utilising wikis, online databases, secure areas, online task settings allows for more effective collaboration and communication.
Google Apps: We run our email on Google Apps. We suffer minimal downtime, can add new users within minutes, can utilise the Google Chat client internally, and can archive and manage huge numbers of email. All at no cost.
Office Productivity Suite: While we still use MS Office we are slowly moving towards Wiki style documents in Central Desktop, and also towards using Google Docs, Zoho, OpenOffice as their offerings are improving daily.
Accounts: We run our accounts on Saasu, an online accounting solution for small businesses.
Telephony: While we use our traditional landline for local calls, all other calls are made using Skype. We use Skype's advanced business services including voicemail, call forwarding, Skype Out, Skype In and video.
Online meetings: Where possible we conduct meetings online, using Skype, Gotomeeting and WebEx.
